Gatwick Group are taking the spread of COVID-19 extremely seriously. Our priority is the safety and well-being of our employees and our customers.
We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on our actions.
Level of Service
So far as is possible in these challenging times we are looking to maintain our normal levels of service. We remain open for business, supporting our customers for service and repair work and offering new and used car sales. We would ask for your patience where we are operating with reduced levels of resource as inevitably, we may find some of our team unwell and having to self-isolate.
Please be assured we are following the latest advice from the Government, Public Health England and other authorities, and in the event of any escalation in this advice we will follow their guidance.
Gatwick Group Staff
Whilst we are, as always, delighted to see customers, please don’t be offended that we won’t be shaking hands and will be keeping a safe distance, to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus. We may not be able to offer drinks or refreshments as we would normally, but instead we will offer you hand sanitiser and facilities to wash your hands during your visit. Please ask a member of staff.

We would ask that if any of you feel unwell or are displaying any of the symptoms of COVID-19 you contact us before visiting so we can try to make alternative arrangements.
Cleanliness & Hygiene at Gatwick Group
We have introduced enhanced processes to reduce the risk of passing on infection. We have increased cleaning programmes, especially for those areas touched regularly by team members or customers. As part of our normal servicing and valet procedures we will be wiping down the steering wheel, buttons/switches, gear shift, handles and keys of every vehicle with disinfectant. This process will also be used for all vehicle deliveries, and for demonstrator and loan vehicles before and after they are used.
Latest guidance suggests packaging on parts and accessories is not a major source of possible infection, but we will happily wipe down such items with disinfectant at customer request on handover. We will continue to review and update these procedures.
